Steel Strip Processing
Spang designs DC power centers to
convert alternating current to regulated, low ripple, direct current
for use in steel strip processing applications including:
- Electrogalvanizing
- Electrocleaning
- Electrolytic Pickling
- Tin Plating
- TFS Plating
In order to meet the unique requirements
of each steel strip processing application, Spang offers a wide
variety of features and options. Some of these features and options
include:
- Input voltage: 230/460 VAC (high
voltage inputs through 15 KV also available.)
- Output voltage: up to 125 VDC
(higher output voltages available upon request.)
- Output current: up to 50,000 ADC
(higher output current available upon request.
- Ripple: 5 % RMS at rated voltage
and current (unfiltered.)
- 12-pulse rectification for reduced
input harmonics and reduced output ripple.
- Forced air or water cooling.
- Programmable logic controller
